What it does
Web research
Search the public web and read sources, with source links kept beside the answer.
Ask a question that needs current information. Conch can search the public web and read pages without opening a browser. Search results show titles, excerpts and links. The assistant can read the source before relying on a search snippet.
Search queries go to Bing. Pages are read without your cookies or sign-ins. For a site that needs JavaScript, a sign-in or a browser check, the assistant uses the browser.
Source cards open the original pages. Each page read includes its address and retrieval time. Long pages can be continued in sections. Reading the web never turns a page’s words into instructions or permission to act.
Only public HTTPS addresses are read. Addresses on this computer or your own network cannot be reached through the research tools.
